STEP 3: Receive your delivery.
I received my meal delivery 5 days after I ordered, on a Friday. It was very easy to track my package, so I knew when to expect it. It came in a cardboard box with packs to keep the meals cold (which were made of plant food, so easy to dispose of). The meals came individually wrapped and frozen, so I put them directly into my own freezer.
STEP 4: Heat and enjoy!
The night before, I would take a meal out of the freezer to defrost. The directions tell you to either heat in the microwave or in the oven. However, I actually just heat them on the stove, and it’s very easy to put the meal in a pan, and have the meal ready in about 7 minutes.
Meals get delivered every week, and the menu rotates so there’s variety. You don’t need to do anything to maintain weekly deliveries. You can choose to skip weeks, pause, or cancel your subscription, as well.
STEP 6: Repeat!
If you want to continue receiving your weekly delivery as is, you don’t have to do anything. Otherwise, you can change your subscription or skip weeks online.
The Trifecta Clean Meal Plan to Avoid Processed Foods
I chose to go with the Trifecta clean meal plan. The Trifecta clean meals are 100% free of preservatives and artificial ingredients. Instead, the clean meals are packed with vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. The clean meals are made fresh and avoid processed foods and refined sugar so they are perfect for anyone that is clean eating.
I had 7 clean meals delivered, and here is what I received:
- Japanese Inspired Brown Rice and Chicken with vegetables
- Korean Inspired Brown Rice and Chicken with kale and carrots
- Cauliflower and Chicken Breast Power Plate
- Chickpeas with Chicken and roasted red peppers
- Turkey Burrito Bowl with sweet potatoes, cabbage, and tomatilos
- Indian Inspired Butter Chicken Breast with tomatoes and basmati rice
- Pork with Salsa Verde with tomatilos, cilantro, and rice
Sodium Content of Trifecta Meals
The sodium content of Trifecta clean meals that I received are around 23-26% DV, or around 520mg to 590mg. The food did not taste salty to me, and I normally don’t like salty food, so I did not feel that the sodium content of Trifecta meals was high.
Difference Between Trifecta Clean and Paleo Meals
I also considered the Trifecta’s paleo meals, which are focused more on lean proteins, vegetables. The paleo meals are free of dairy, soy, grains, unapproved legumes, and gluten. Some examples of Trifecta’s paleo meals are:
- Sausage and Egg Scramble with Sweet Potatoes
- Roasted Chicken Breast with Asparagus
- Korean Beef Bulgogi
The difference between the Trifecta clean and paleo meals is primarily the usage of grains, which the clean meals include, and the paleo meals do not. Both Trifecta’s clean and paleo meals avoid processed foods and refined sugar.
My Honest Trifecta Clean Meal Plan Review
Overall, I am very satisfied with the Trifecta clean meal plan. The food was tasty, and there weren’t any ingredients used that I wouldn’t want to eat. It was super convenient to receive freshly prepared meals, the meal sizes were more than enough, and the meals were tasty. In addition, I appreciated that there wasn’t an overwhelming amount of packaging to have to throw away. I will definitely use Trifecta again.
Using Trifecta to Help Lose Weight
I wanted to use Trifecta for convenience and health reasons. I have a goal of losing 15 pounds in the next few months via exercise and a healthy diet. The Trifecta clean meal plan definitely helps me meet the healthy diet part.
I found each meal to be quite sizable, and finished all of it for each meal. I felt full, and as a result didn’t snack between meals. In addition, because of the convenience of having a meal already prepared, and only having to reheat, I was more likely not to skip a meal during my busy work day, and eat at a regular time.
Overall, because of the convenience and size of the Trifecta meals, I didn’t eat between meals, and didn’t snack on anything unhealthy. I felt much more energetic throughout the day which helped me get through my gym workouts. I definitely think the Trifecta meal plan will help me lose weight.
Is Trifecta meal prep worth it?
I am very satisfied with my Trifecta clean meal experience and give them a good review.
Trifecta meal prep is definitely worth it for the convenience. At $110.99 / week for the 7-week clean meal plan, it is more expensive than making homemade meals, but definitely worth it if you are looking for convenient and healthy meals. Having meals ready to eat that are both delicious and healthy just made my days so much easier, and really supported my goals to lose weight. While on my weight loss journey, I will continue with Trifecta meal prep.

Who I Recommend Trifecta Clean Meal Plan For
I recommend the Trifecta clean meal plan if you are looking for convenient and healthy meals. If you don’t have a lot of time to go grocery shopping and cook, if you are on a clean eating diet or any diet, or if you want easily available meals at your fingertips, then Trifecta is worth a try.
The only reason I wouldn’t recommend a Trifecta clean meal plan is if you are a picky eater, because you don’t know what you’ll receive beforehand.
Summarizing My Trifecta Review: Ordering, tracking and checkout were super easy online. The meals were delivered on-time and in a reasonable amount of packaging. There was a good variety of meals for the week, they were easy to reheat, tasted good, and kept me satisfied until the next meal. I definitely recommend Trifecta for anyone looking for convenient and healthy meals. A MUST TRY!
